Synergy Coherence Degradation in EU-WEST Region
Root Cause
A configuration change intended to "enhance synergy throughput" instead briefly inverted it. Synergy flowed backward for approximately 12 minutes. No cognitive data was lost; however, three dashboards briefly displayed paradigms in reverse chronological order, which some customers found philosophical.
Resolution
Reverted configuration. Added a rule: do not invert synergy.
Elevated Paradigm Latency
Root Cause
An engineer who prefers not to be named ran a database query described as "just a quick one" which consumed 94% of available cognitive resources for 134 minutes.
Resolution
Query was stopped. Engineer was given a talk. Query has been enshrined in our internal wiki as a cautionary artifact.
Pre-Cognitive Alerting False Positive Storm
Root Cause
The Pre-Cognitive Alerting System predicted 4,721 incidents that did not occur. When asked why, it said it was "being cautious."
Resolution
Adjusted alert thresholds. Had a long conversation with the system. Things seem fine now.
