I had planned to do some kayaking on the Medina river this weekend however that plan fell through and some buddies and I headed over to Braunig lake to see if anything was biting. I made it over there around 1:30pm and decided to skip going out on the Kayak and do some bow fishing since the carp were spawning.
Things worked out well, I ended the day with 4 pretty large carp and 3 tilapia – it felt great to use the bow again.
