I was never really interested in the Guitar Hero phenomenon that took PS2 owners by storm back in 2005. I figured that a game with a guitar controller should actually teach the player to play the guitar, not simulate it. Simulation games tend to be quite a bore in many cases so I did not write the game off completely, and when Activision released Guitar Hero 2 for the Xbox 360 I decided to give it a try, this was about 1.5 months ago.
In 1.5 months time, I have been able to beat the game in both easy and medium mode and have also gotten about ½ way through hard. The game is just frustrating enough to make it very addictive, in hard mode the songs can take several attempts to beat and I have had to use the practice option (where it slows the song down) in order to beat a few of them. This game has provided a much needed break from World of Warcraft, if you have a 360 and some extra cash I would definitely recommend checking it out.

I am currently uploading all of my pics to flickr – this will take some time however I believe it’s the best way for photo sharing. After using gallery for the past few years I realize that online photo sharing is something that is best to outsource to the pros!
I don’t want to turn this post into a flickr plug however they do have quite a few benefits that any blogger should look into when choosing photo sharing software, some of my favorites are:
Stand alone uploader / re-sizer for your photos
Takes the bandwidth burden off of your server
Photo tags allow you to organize your pics with ease
Allows for user comments
If you choose to go with the pro account ($24.99/year) you also get the following:
Unlimited uploads
Unlimited storage
Unlimited sets
Permanent Archiving of all photos
Add free sharing
Good stuff in my opinion, I just wish I would have made this decision sooner.
