This is a little strange:
My paper shredder sits about 3 feet from the receiver of my wireless mouse and keyboard, and about a foot and ½ from my mouse . While I was shredding some documents today I noticed that my mouse totally quit working.. I did not try the keyboard, but the mouse would not move or click.. I am guessing that this has something to do with the magnet in my shredder..

It would be a really good prank to set some device up that causes the same interruption as the shredder only without the noise!
I don’t know what the heck this thing is, but I sure as hell would not want to roll over and find it laying next to me in bed.
